“The new site on Toronto Islands looks amazing”, says Canadian pro wakeboarder Rusty Malinoski. “The water is going to be perfectly flat and Pat (Panakos) is going to be there building crazy rails again so I think it’s going to go off. All the riders look forward to Wakestock every year because it’s the best contest around in terms of flat water, huge rails and crowds. Being in Toronto, it will be nice to have an even larger crowd to keep all the riders stoked. I think people are going to be stoked that it’s right in Toronto because they won’t have to drive hours to get to Wakestock...Also it will be really cool to be in downtown Toronto, with some good places to eat and great nightclubs. I’m looking forward
to staying right downtown.”
