Harley Clifford Wins Nautique Wake Games

Orlando, Fla. - Putting an exclamation point on four days of progressive riding across 24 divisions at the Nautique Wake Games presented by Rockstar, Harley Clifford took top honors in the Pro Men's finals, the event's elite division. Nicola Butler also went home a champion, putting in a top notch performance to claim first place in the Pro Women's division. Making the most of the G23's huge wake, Harley Clifford boosted his way to first place with a combo of gigantic airs and stylish rail riding. The win gives last year's King of Wake champion an early upper hand in defending his crown. It was also a great day in Orlando for Clifford's fellow Aussie countryman Dean Smith, who used his collection of signature airs to lift his way onto second place.

Pivotal Day 3 for Pros at Nautique Wake Games

Orlando, Fla. � Stakes were high during the third day of competition at the Nautique Wake Games presented by Rockstar, as the world's best men and women wakeboarders battled it out for coveted spots in tomorrow's final day of action. Adding to the excitement, 2013 Wake Games crowns were awarded to amateurs in 13 divisions. Pitting flawless execution against the world class wake from the G23, Harley Clifford and Phil Soven renewed wakeboarding's greatest rivalry with an exhibition in progressive riding. Clifford, the defending King of Wake champion, used the massive wake to boost a jaw-dropping indy double tantrum to help him win his heat and claim a spot in tomorrow's semifinals. Soven showed he was no slouch in the offseason as well, registering a vintage run that placed him atop his heat and keeps him in contention to win his second consecutive Nautique Wake Games. The quarterfinals also saw an excellent run from wakeboarding icon and longtime Nautique team rider Shawn Watson, who took first place in his heat and looks to be a fan favorite going into the final day of action.

My 2012 year... One word. AMAZING! This video doesn't explain the amount of fun I had last year, but it sure does show you that I traveled the whole world to wakeboard! I've always been a boat rider and competing in the USA for the ProTour. I never knew I'd travel to so many places around the world to wakeboard, it's so cool! I'm also meeting new people in every country who share my passion! It's crazy to see how big cable wakeboarding has become in the last 3 years! I use to have to explain what wakeboarding was (like snowboarding behind a boat on water instead of snow) haha. Now I just say "have you heard of wake brothers" they usually say yes. I remember before I hurt myself in 2008 everyone was about boat riding, then I came back a year later and cable was now accepted and air tricks were in! Since 2010 it's all about rails and 2.0. It's so cool to see everything happening. I didn't attended many 2.0 events last year, but this year I would love to! They look so much fun. A huge crowd, riding cable, traveling, and being with friends! I couldn't ask for more! 2012 was awesome for me, I got to go to Thailand in the beginning of the year and ended my year in Abu Dhabi with a huge GO KART race against pretty much the whole cable industry haha. I know lots of my footage is shaky and blurry and not clean landings, but I worked really hard to retrieve these clips from friends. Most of these clips I did not know I had a camera pointed at me, friends happen to be filming me around the world and I decided to take them all and make a little video. So I'm sorry for that. Last year all happened because of my parents, OWC, JOBE, The WWA and because I love wakeboarding! One thing... 2013... More fun, more cables, and more videos! Hope everyone enjoys this video!

Niels Willemars riding Dutch Down Under

20 year old Niels Willemars moved from Cyprus to the Netherlands to study International Leisure Management. He sure knows how to manage his own free time: wakeboarding as much as he can!

In this video he's riding at his home cable Down Under Cableway, in the Netherlands. A great cable with some nice Unit obstacles and besides that the 2.0 Teva Blue line and a indoor Wavesurfer!

Since Niels his riding can easily be called sick and he doesn't have any sponsors yet, we thought he deserves a nice edit!
