Limited Edition. What does it mean to you? While some people like to follow the crowds and use the same products everyone else is using, others of you probably like to stand out, or be unique. If so, Liquid Force has something coming your way this month in the form of their Limited Edition bindings. They've taken their high end bindings and changed up the look to a bunch of cool unique styles. Only a small number of each binding was made, and they won't last long at the selected shops who are getting them. Once they're gone, they're gone for good!
The highly anticipated Team binding is even more eye catching in the silver and black limited edition colors. The Team is one of the most technically advanced wakeboard bindings available today. Created by the entire Liquid Force team, the Team binding has features such as dual cleat locks and a stealth lace system. These features allow you to independently adjust the front and back support with little effort. The Team also introduces the newly innovated molded heel and toe pieces.
The sharp looking all black 2005 Transit bindings will be available in a black and camoflauge limited edition color. The camo Transit has a mix of black and camo top overlay with a bright green stripe for separation. The camo color is accented by dark green laces, black foot beds and black base plates. Influenced by Shawn Watson, Transit bindings feature sewn overlay technology with integrated stretch zones for maximum support and comfort. This also makes them easy to get on and off.
The Sphynx is the brainchild of Shane Bonifay and will be available in a limited edition brown and black snake skin color. The limited edition Sphynx will offer a very different color option from the original all white model. The limited Sphynx features a brown snake skin on the top and sides with black inner pieces, black footbeds and black base plates. The laces are a matching brown color with a black LF logo on the side. The Sphynx was developed for the high end rider that likes a supportive and responsive binding with a softer overall flex.
For the ladies, Liquid Force and Melissa Marquardt took the Minx binding and also laced it out in a pink snake skin. The limited edition Minx colors are similar to the original model but has the snake skin look and a lot more pink. The sides and top are feature the pink snake skin separated with white outlines. The inner cushions are also pink with grey and white foot beds. The base plates are mostly white with splashes of pink that looks as if it was painted on with a sponge. The Minx binding has the technically advanced features as the other high end Liquid Force bindings, but are made especially for the ladies.
Liquid Force only offered these bindings to shop owners attending the 2004 Surf Expo, so their availability will be very limited. To be sure that you get your name on a pair of your own, Boardstop is now taking pre orders on all four of the limited edition bindings. For those that like to be unique and stand out of the crowd, these bindings were made for you. Don't let them pass you up because they will not be around for long.
