CWB Stacks The Deck

CWB Board Co has finalized their 2005 Junior National Team. CWB has over the last 4 years dominated the MasterCraft Junior X Series, and 2005 should be no different.

2000, Joel Cahill wins the series and the Masters and CWB finished the year with 4 Juniors in the top 10. 2001, Joey Arcisz wins the series, and the Masters, and CWB finished again with 4 in the top 10. 2002 Derek Grasman wins the Junior Series, and once again with 4 in the top 10. 2003 Jeff House finishes second in the series and CWB has 5 of the top 10. 2004, Scott Hopkins finishes 2nd and CWB has 2 in the top 10 and 4 in the top 15!

That is the history, now for the future. Returning for 2005 will be Jeff House who finished the 2004 season 13th after only competing in 3 of the 5 contests due to an appendix operation. But came on strong finishing 2nd at Worlds. Jeff is from TN.

Rhett Whatley finished 2004 8th, with a 2nd in Ft Worth and making the finals in 3 of the 5 events. Rhett also finished the year as the overall winner in the Ambush- BuyWake.com series. Rhett is from Georgia.

Daniel Walden, also a TN rider will have his shot at his second year of the Junior Series. Daniel had some misfortunes with injuries in 2004.

Reed Hansen, younger brother of Pro CWB Team, Trevor. This will be Reed’s first year on the Junior Tour as he just finished Boys division. How about, 2003 Boys World Champion, 2004 Boys National Champion and 2nd in Boys at Worlds. Reed is from Florida.

Derek Conway, has just been signed for the 2005 season. He finished the 2004 season 5th and was the 2004 Jr Men National Champion in 2004. Derek was injured between Nationals and Worlds and was unable to compete at Worlds. Derek is form central California.

Nick Jones, finished 18th in 2004 only competing in 2 of the 5 contests, and finishing 3rd in Irvine. Watch this guy in 2005. Nick is from Washington.

Robby Carter did not compete on the 2004 tour, but look for him in 2005. This kid rips and has awesome style. He missed finals at Worlds by just a few points. Robby is from Oregon.

Hank Carter, was just signed as well, he finished 17th on the tour in 2004. Hank had a lot of friends on the CWB Team so he decieded why not join them. Hank is from Texas.

There are a lot of exciting things that will happen for the Junior Men in 2005, stay tuned for more details.
