Team Tige' Rider Daniel Watkins Wins First Stop Of WWC Tour
 
PRESS RELEASE:

ABILENE, TEXAS - Professional wake boarders and TeamTigé members Daniel Watkins and Cathy Williams captured first and third-place finishes, respectively, on the first stop of the World Wakeboard Council's Wakeboard World Cup on June 19-20 in Enghien, France. Watkins collected the pro men's title, while Williams placed third in the pro women's final.

Watkins, a member of TeamTigé since 2000, adds the win to previous feats which include a third-place finish at the 2003 X Games, a 2003 Australian Pro Tour championship and a 2002 WWC World Pro championship. Notably, Watkins is currently ranked No. 3 in the World Wakeboarding Association's Pro Men world rankings.

Williams, the 2000 and '01 European Pro Tour Champion, the 2001 AWA Nationals Pro Women Champion and the 2001 WWC Pro Women World Champion, has been a part of TeamTigé since 1999.

Both Watkins and Williams train behind the Tigé 22V, which is equipped with the patented Tigé Adjustable Performance System (TAPS2) and ConvexV (patent pending) continuous rocker hull. The 22V is American Wakeboard Association approved for contest use.
