First Day Of MC Junior TriX

PRESS RELEASE:

After the first day of competition, Over 30 junior athletes have begun to compete in multiple events. The MasterCraft Junior Tri-X, hosted by Texas Ski Ranch, is a unique event that forces junior athletes to compete in three of six action sports. (Wakeboard, Skateboard, Cable Wakeboard, MotoX, Rock Climbing, and Cable Wakeskate) The top overall placefinishers of this event will walk away with $7500 in cash. Not to bad considering these athletes aren't even old enough to vote.

Day one saw action in four of the six events. Wakeboard behind the boat, the tournaments largest event, saw the fireld narrowed to sixteen riders which will compete in two more rounds. Jeff House, Kevin Henshaw, Danny Thollander & Rhet Whatley all won their heats and move onto Saturday's semifinals. The event is pulled behind the 04 MasterCraft X-Star, while the shores are lined with vintage and new MasterCrafts as part of the MidAmerica MC Boat Owners Reunion also takes place at TSR this weekend.
