Tige' Restructures Internal Management For Imminent Growth

ABILENE, TEXAS – In another bold move, Company President Charlie Pigeon has split the Tigé Sales and Marketing Department to better serve customers and dealers across the board. Advertising and communications Director Kip Davis will be leading the Marketing Department, while newly appointed Sales Manager Cory Isaacs will be leading the Sales Department.
“As the future of the marine industry unfolds, Tigé is moving forward and making dramatic changes throughout its management structure and product line,” said Pigeon. “Last fall we introduced our all-composite LifePlus Core construction and engineering. Now we are restructuring our internal departments to form a team-oriented, flat organization focused on clearly understanding our customers, our dealer network and our industry as a whole.”
Davis originally partnered with Pigeon in 1990 to found Tigé Boats, Inc. He has more than 25 years of general advertising and marketing experience plus an in-depth knowledge of the inboard industry. Davis graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from California State University in Fresno, California. Since then, Davis has served as the Creative Director for one of the top advertising agencies in Fresno, Davis Advertising, and he has won many advertising awards including a Western Division Addy award. Davis will relocate to Abilene, Texas April 1.
Isaacs joined Tigé in 2003 as General Counsel. Before moving to Abilene, he held various sales positions while earning his bachelors degree at Wake Forest University and four masters degrees at various universities. As Sales Manager, Isaacs will be responsible for expanding distribution channels and fostering open communication throughout Tigé’s dealer network, while establishing a strong and synergistic community within the sales department.
