Athletically Inclined (AI), a sports and urban marketing firm based out of Philadelphia, PA is sponsoring X Marks the Spot @ Club Blue – A collaboration of Hip Hop and Actions Sports culture. The X Games themed promotional mixer/ party is scheduled for Friday, August 15th, doors open at 10pm, free until 10:30. X Marks the Spot is the only X Games themed event in LA that blends urban hip hop culture with the Action Sports Community. The mission of this event is for Athletically Inclined, to display its commitment to the Action Sports community and to bridge the gap between urban Hip Hop culture and Action Sports.
Club Blue has made its home in the old Las Palmas Theater, just two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard. The cool and stylish venue offers a scene of hip and trendy nightlife, holds over 1,000 people, has 4 rooms, 3 lounges, 2 dance floors, a VIP lounge/entrance, outdoor patio and valet parking. AI has partnered with LA based promoter, Dave Brown, who recently organized an event at Club Blue for San Diego Chargers player, Marcellus Wiley. Brown is known to draw some of the most hip and powerful people in LA, we expect the same demographic to support this event.
Branding sponsors for this event include, Arista Records promoting Pharrell Williams, Bone Crusher and Outcast, Rockstar Energy Drink, Rocawear, and JNCO Jeans. There will be various raffles and promotional give-a-ways throughout the evening. Many action sport & music industry celebrities will also be in attendance. We are expecting a turnout of more than 1,200 individuals, celebrating one of the Action Sports marquee events - X Games and its appeal to Hip Hop culture. This event will be the most dynamic and diverse event during the X Games party circuit.
