Information
In talking with our local Wildlife and Fisheries agents over the past summer, they have given me some recommendations that will save everyone some heartache, including all of us that love to ride and the local houseboat owners. They have asked that I pass on to everyone to be respectful of the houseboat owners along the river. If you happen to pass by a houseboat docked along side the river, try to pass on the opposite side of the river, in the areas where there are several houseboats together, or on both sides of the river those are No-Wake zones. If you want to avoid the houseboats, when leaving the boat dock at Lazarre Point you can head south on the river, there is 35 miles of uninhibited water to ride in. If you head north from Lazarre Point, you will run into a few No Wake zones before you get to a good riding area.

When LSF ’03 is over, I hope to see everyone back for LSF ’04…………….
