New Event for Cablestock-“Team USA vs. World Team”
Cablestock, an exclusive Texas Ski Ranch wakeboarding festival May 16, 17 & 18, 2003, is pulling together a head to head “Team USA vs. World Team” tournament on Saturday May 17.
TSR is inviting any top-level wakeboarder who is interested in competing in a head to head tournament pitting 5 riders from the United States versus 5 riders from all other countries. Each rider will be scored on 2 runs and then ranked from 1 to 10. The first place rider will earn 10 points for his team, 2nd will earn 9 and so on. In the event of a tie, the winning team will be awarded to the first place rider’s team. There will be prize money and appearance fees for each of the ten competitors in this event.
In addition, on Friday evening May 16, there will be a sickest trick competition in which the top move will earn $1500 cash. The rest of the weekend and Friday will be open to riders of all ages and abilities to come out and ride the cable. TSR is offering all 3 days for the price of one, just $34.00. There will be plenty of time to ride with the top riders in the world on Friday and throughout the weekend!
