Cable Comp, Winch Comp, Paintball and Free Style Motocross
KC Watersports, Mid America's only cable wakeboard park is pleased to host the first Scion Open wakeboarding competition. The highlight of the event will be a free style motocross exhibition by ten time X-Games medalist "Cowboy" Kenny Bartram, followed by a wakeboarding exhibition by world champion wakeboarder Tom Fooshee and Nationally ranked Kyle Reed of the Texas Ski Ranch.
The event kicks off on Saturday July 19th at Noon. There will be open riding on the cable until 5 PM. The motocross shows will run at 3:30 PM and at 6 PM. The wakeboarding exhibition will follow.
The cable competition begins at 5 PM. The $25 fee includes a day pass on the cable as well as an entry in one wakeboard division. Divisions include Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Wakeboard, Open Wakeskate, and Kneeboard Fun Division.
The Monster Winch Park Wakeskate comp features a $500 cash prize. Qualifying for this event begins Friday 4 PM. Finals will begin Saturday at 1 PM. Entry for the winch comp is $25.
There will be a paintball target shoot out contest hosted by Bass Pro Shops. Try out the latest paintball guns and compete to win prizes!
