The Texas Ski Ranch Announces Summer Long Showdown Tournament Series

New Braunfels, TX - TSR's summer long showdown tournament series kicks off June 5th and this summer the competition is expected to be hotter than the south Texas heat. Come kick it at TSR and enjoy riding on both lakes, Texas Hold Em Tournaments, Boarding films and Guitar Hero on Thursday nights.
The first Showdown series will be held in June on the boat lake behind a brand new Mastercraft X-2, and the second series starting in July will be held on the cable lake. Wakeboarders and Wakeskaters of all levels can compete on our private Mastercraft boat lake in divisions ranging from beginner to pro. Also on June 12th TSR will once again welcome Scott Byerly and his crew for the 2008 Toe Jam Tour series. In honor of the Toe Jam, this week's showdown will be a wakeskate only event with divisions from beginner to advanced. Come watch the pros ride and then participate in the wakeskate only showdown and get judged and coached by some of your favorite pros: Aaron Reed, Danny Hampson, Bret Little and more.
New this year TSR will host Texas Hold Em tournaments that are free to enter and start right after the wake showdown ends. There will be cash prizes and gift certificates for all the big winners. Also, riders and spectators alike will get the opportunity to rock out in the lounge on the big screen with some Guitar Hero Action. Throughout the night there will be some of the latest and greatest wake films shown on the new, huge 14 X 8 projection TV. Films like Transgression, The Truth, Push Process, Chick Flick, What in Tarnation and Impact.
TSR's summer showdowns are a great way to come out and ride, try win some cash, learn some new tricks and hang out with your friends. Of course the skate park will be open to shred and Coconuts Bar and Grill will be providing some great food and drinks.
