Tige Boats Promotes Rick Correll to VP Manufacturing

ABILENE, TX - Tige Boats has promoted Rick Correll to the position of Vice President, Manufacturing. Correll has worked with Tige as Manufacturing Manager since joining the company in 2006.

With 25 years of experience in the marine industry, Correll has worked at every level of the manufacturing process for some of the largest manufacturers in the marine industry. He has also been involved with developing innovative ideas that have resulted in several patents within the industry. Since he joined Tige, Correll has been responsible for the entire manufacturing process.

"Rick has helped Tige achieve a new level of production efficiency and product quality," Tige CEO Charlie Pigeon said. "His emphasis on employee training, team building, manufacturing innovation and unyielding quality assurance throughout the line has helped us efficiently build the highest quality boats in the industry."

Pigeon added that the proficiency of the Tige manufacturing team is an important factor contributing to the company's current financial strength and continued steady growth in the inboard market.

Tige manufactures eight inboard models ranging from 20 to 24 feet in length.
