Epic Boats Signs the Hoffman Sisters

"It's a dream come true to ride for Epic" Raquel said. "An aspect that I love about Epic is how much they care about female athletes. Epic is not only helping the sport of wakeboarding, but the women's side of wakeboarding as well! If it were not for Epic, "The Chick Flick" wouldn't be possible." Eighteen-year-old Raequel capped off her exciting 2006 season by winning the Wake Games in the Pro Women's Division and taking 1st at the INT US Championships.

Shawna, the younger of the siblings, had a phenomenal 2006 season in the Junior Women's division taking 1st at the Wake Games, WWA Nationals and WWA Worlds, and kicking off the 2007 season with a win at the Wake Games. Shawna said, "I'm really excited about working with Epic because it's a new company that is strictly focused on wakeboarding."

Joe Umali, Marketing Director for Epic Boats, says he is "excited to have the Hoffmans riding for Epic Boats. They are the future of women's wakeboarding. With their commitment to excel behind the boat combined with their off-the-water values, it made perfect sense to have them join the Epic family"

Raequel and Shawna also both represent CWB and Proline.

Based in San Diego, CA, Epic Boats is the creator of the 23V with 4,000 lbs of ballast, "Drop Zone" Wake Enhancing Hull Technology, Resin-Infused All-Composite construction, Dual Rudder "Vector Steer System," 8-Speaker Transom Audio and many other features. Epic currently has dealers in California, Idaho, Texas, Arizona and Colorado with more to come soon.
