So, you might have gotten that first wake ride under your belt already here in the Midwest. The water was probably freezing... but rest assured, The Midwest Militia is about to bring the heat and officially kick off the summer with our annual May Demo Days. We're teaming up once again with the finest local pro shops, top tier wakeboard boat manufactures and the freshest clothing and accessories companies to bring their latest goods to you on the banks of the Illinois River. Whether you're there for the gear, the boats, the riding, or the PARTYING; May Demo Days is THE season kickoff in the Midwest.
Tentative Schedule (you never know what we may throw in between now and then, so don't miss out!)
Friday - Some like to show up early. Set up camp, bring your boat or find a pull and free-ride all day. You may even get a pull behind one of the brand new boats before anyone else. Look for some entertainment and party at the Busted Prop Friday night.
Saturday - Demo Day-check out 2007 Boats, Boards and Gear: Mastercraft, Supra, Epic, Nautiques, Ronix, Gator, Slingshot Central Clothing and more. (Yes you read it right; this is your chance to session the new Line of Ronix wakeboards from Liquid Sports. Look for raffles and the Midwest Militia Season Kickoff party to follow.
Sunday - Whether you decide to pack up early and hit the road or you're one of the diehards that stick around and ride all day; you will never go home from a Midwest Militia event without some great memories.
