The WWA developed the wakeboarding industry's most prestigious wakeboard event in 1989. The season-ending World Championships has always included the world's best wakeboarders. Past Champions include Scott Byerly, Shaun Murray, Darin Shapiro, Parks Bonifay, and last year's champion Andrew Adkison.
That being said, the WWA looks to continue the tradition of the World Wakeboard Championships by producing a premiere event that showcases the talents of all of the sport's most progressive riders.
