Happy November! The LF Truth

First off, let's start in the world of LF Films...

The Truth is coming!!!

Justin has been locked in the editing room for some time now and won't be coming out until the video is finished. He's been at work on this film for nearly 2 years and is nearing the finish line. We've been getting sneak peaks here at the LF office and can't wait for the world to see Justin's work. From what we've seen so far, the entire team is going to have some pretty bangin' parts...especially Aaron Reed, Benny G, Keith Lyman and Mikey Ennen. For those Shane, Shawn, and Melissa fans, don't worry...their parts are going to be sick, as well. The video is on target to be in shops by Thanksgiving, if not sooner. For details on where to get one, don't forget to check out www.liquidforce.com and go to the dealer section. If you want to keep up to date with where Justin's mindset is, go check out his blog on www.liquidforcefilms.com.

Want to be one of the first to check out the video?

Don't you worry...we've got plenty of premiers lined up. The first "official" premier will be held in Orlando on Monday, November 13th at the Aloma Cinema Draft House. Wakeboarding Magazine will be hosting this one in their hometown with the LF Crew. Doors will open at 9:00 PM and the movie will start at 9:30 PM. Entry is free and a full menu of food and drinks will be served at the Cinema. The Aloma Cinema Draft house is located at 2034 Aloma Ave. Winter Park, FL 32792 between Lakemont and Semoran in the Publix shopping center. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to meet the LF team riders and to view The Truth before anyone else in the world.

The second "official" premier will be hosted in Oregon City, OR...just outside of Portland. Dr. John's bar will be the site and the movie will kick off @ 11:00, immediately following the wrap-up of Active Watersports event, "Evening with the Stars". LF Pro's Shane Bonifay, Kevin Henshaw, Mike Ennen, Melissa Marquardt, and Silas Thurman will be on hand, as will others from the LF office. For more info on Active's event, or the premier at Dr. John's, contact Active Watersports @ 503-650-5991.

Keep checking www.liquidforce.com for updates on premiers in your area...info coming soon on premiers in Texas, Chicago, Tampa, and other areas across the country.

In "coolest wedding we've ever been to" news...

Gregg Necrason got married last weekend in Downtown Orlando and we're pretty sure it's one of the coolest wedding's ever. The black tie reception at the Westin Grand Bohemian in downtown was a perfect place for Gregg and Lisa's celebration which included masked stilt walkers, a contortionist, a magician as well as some great food and drink. Josh Letchworth, Joey Meddock, Tony Smith and Justin Stephens were all on hand, so I'm sure that photos and footage will be showing up soon in the mags and videos. The best part of the night had to be Gregg and Lisa's dance duet to kick things off. It was either that, or the LF crew storming the dance floor when a BROstock favorite from Fischerspooner was played by the DJ. It was a great night for all involved...thanks for the invite, Gregg and Lisa!

Lake Powell Houseboat giveaway winners announced...

Liquid Force and Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas teamed up this year to give one lucky winner a "trip of a lifetime". "We've been going to Lake Powell for the past couple of years for our catalog and video shoots and have fallen in love with the place. We figured we should give back to our customers and give them all an opportunity to win a trip out to our favorite lake." Stated VP Sales and Marketing, Don Wallace. "Luckily for us, the crew at Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas hooked it up. We were able to run a sweepstakes all year long on our website and through dealers that handed out postcards to each customer that purchased an LF item in 2006. We literally received thousands of entries and picked a winner out of a box of entries on October 3rd. Making the call to the winner was one of the coolest things I've ever been able to do. The winner, Karla, was so excited. She'd never been to Powell and had wanted to go ever since she saw our team video, RELENTLESS...just the type of person we wanted to send." Liquid Force looks to expand on this sweepstakes idea and will be doing similar things in 2007. For upcoming promotions, be sure to check out www.liquidforce.com and sign up for the weekly newsletter, The Truth. For info on Lake Powell, check out www.lakepowell.com. Below are the official results from the LF "Win a Trip to Lake Powell" Sweepstakes.

In "cool events we forgot to mention" news...

One of our great LF dealers hosted an event this summer that we forgot to cover...not sure how we missed spreading the word, but hey...even the best make mistakes sometimes...LF Pro Collin Harrington, as well as Mikey Marsh went to the event to help Brian and crew at Water Ways Inc in Ocean City, Maryland host it's first ever "Rail Jam" this past summer at Macky's Bayside bar and grill. The rail started out 50 foot long but by the time Colin rolled into town and put his carpenter boots on, he talked Brian into changing it a bit...The rail ended up 66 feet long with a 16' Flat section on the Top. Local ripper Ross Salveson, riding a wakeskate, was the first to ride out the whole rail and was impressive all day long. After the locals tore it up in front of the large bayside crowd it was Collins turn to start tearing it up and he definitely lived up to the title of "pro rider", as he killed it all day. According to Brian, there were too many great rides to mention them all. Thanks to
Water Ways and their crew for putting on the event, which they say is the first of many more to come. To check out a photo gallery and video of the action go to http://www.ocwaterways.com/rail_jam.htm.

LF ripper Kyle Mack looking to go big this winter...

9 year old LF grom Kyle Mack has been ripping all summer on his Nemesis, but he's traded in his wake gear for the winter and has replaced it with his snow shredder. Kyle's got a busy season ahead of him as he tackles events all over the globe, including the US Open where he hopes to take the junior title against kids much older than him. Last year he broke his arm but still managed to compete and impress riders much older than him. For more info on Kyle and his plans for the future, check out http://www.burton.com/Teams.aspx and check the "smalls" section. We're stoked on our dual sport athlete that is hoping to follow in Shaun White's footsteps as a two event action sport dominator. At the age of 9, he's well on his way.

Well...that's it for now...stay tuned for next month's edition of the Truth. The weekly report will be a monthly report this winter...don't worry, though, we'll have plenty of news to report and will get back to the regular weekly routine as spring rolls around.
