Fort Worth, TX - Some of the top local wakeboard boat dealers are combining forces to bring an exciting, first of its kind event to the Fort Worth Boat Show. It’s a LIVE wakeboarding rail jam event that will take place on Sunday, January 15th inside the Fort Worth Convention Center.
Sliding or grinding on rails has been a part of wakeboarding for the past few years but until now it has all happened behind a boat on a lake. Now, with the use of portable pools and a high speed winch, instead of watching the riders from 100 yards away on the shore, spectators can be just a few feet from the action.
Its extreme sports up close, personal and in your face! The event will feature REEF Team rider and Pro Wakeboard Tour regular, JD Webb. Webb was the 2004 “Rookie of the Year” and also took home his first Pro Tour victory at Kelowna, BC in 2004. He will be joined by top regional riders including Brian Sasser, Joey Arcisz, Joey Bradley, Richie McKee, Duston Swafford and more. The event is backed by Texas Mastercraft & Chaparral, Waterski Boats Dallas, Waterski America and Chipotle Restaurants. The wakeboard rail jam demos are scheduled to take place at 12noon and again at 3pm.
