MasterCraft Unveils New Attitude-Riddled X-15

Vonore, TN – In film, it is defined by the handsome leading man who attracts ladies like a magnet attracts steel. In music, it’s a certain Irish rock band that’s always one step ahead of the ever-changing cultural landscape. And in wakeboarding, it’s Parks Bonifay. “It” is attitude – that cool-headed confidence that dominates any theatre, arena or Pro Wakeboard Tour stop and when it comes to the wake-hungry water, the all new MasterCraft X-15 has it. Born from the DNA of the legendary MasterCraft X-Star, this wide-body wake maker carries an attitude designed to tower above a 21-foot market mired in mediocrity.

At 21’ 8” and 100-inches wide, the X-15 will impress critics and fans alike. Its advanced hull design incorporates more deadrise at both the bow and stern, giving it a smoother ride than comparable inboards, and rivaling its stern-drive contemporaries. Flip the KGB Ballast system switches and soon the X-15 is not only the Sultan of smooth but the Mogul of wakes, giving any rider the tools to nail that bunny hop or backside mobius.

The X-15 is not shy when it comes to offering up space, featuring 138 cubic feet of clean underseat and sundeck storage that will hold anything you can carry on, plus uncompromised bow and wraparound seating that can hold about anyone you bring aboard. Up front, the traditional design is complimented by a stylish-yet-understated framed look that makes the bow observer’s seat more comfortable and creates room for more than just one up front. As guests head to the stern, they are welcomed by spacious wraparound seating designed for a party of 14. Mention that the boat has creature comforts like snap-in carpet, 10 cup holders, walk-thru wind enclosure, JL Audio speakers driven by a Clarion head unit, posh vinyl with chic hammered metal accents and a removable Igloo™ cooler you will soon have an endless supply of friends.

The helm is a driver’s dream. The MasterCraft’s X-Pod inspired modular dash display and billet cockpit appointments make sure drivers are not left out of the fun. A standard MasterView bolster seat provides the perfect vantage point for finding clean water while MasterCraft’s upgraded multi-port RTP-1 310 HP GM Vortec engine, new aircraft-style top lit switches, the latest CAN-driven (control area network) red-faced gauges and second generation Digital Throttle Control (DTC) with MasterCraft Cruise will let you in on a big secret: why MasterCraft’s elite club of owners can’t seem to stop talking about their boat.

Up top, the X-15 sports the latest and greatest in tower design with a standard 2 ½” thick ZeroFlex tower that includes trend setting swiveling board racks for even more storage. Add in the optional tower lights and speakers and suffice to say you will be the annoying envy of the lake.

In the back, riders are welcomed by an oversized boarding platform, accentuated by the X-15’s diamond shaped transom with scooped aluminum vent covers and a large, comfortable sun pad that opens up to a world of storage beneath.

So if you are in need of an attitude adjustment, look no further. The X-15 has plenty to go around.
