Headworx, the free-thinking boardsports brand, has signed up two of
wakeboarding's biggest stars – Chris Potts and Nick Davies.
Potts is an established star of the sport and in seven years has risen
to become Britain's most successful cable wakeboarder. On the national
circuit he is almost always to be found in the medal positions.
In his seven years competing at the UK Nationals he has been Champion
four times and has never placed outside of the top three. He has also
won major accolades on the European stage, having been a regular visitor
to the podium on the European circuit since 1998.
Something of a renaissance man, Chris is not only a successful rider and
coach – taking the GB team to success at the 2004 European Championships
– but also writes and edits influential and established wakeboarding
Also signing for Team Headworx is Nick Davies, an up and coming
16-year-old British star. Nick has only been competing for a short time
but has already left an indelible mark with his mature and consistent
At only 14 years of age in 2003, Nick became the European Boys Champion,
leaving the rest of the field quite literally trailing in his wake. He
took second in 2004, in a much more competitive event.
