The Northwest Wakeboard Invitational, July 23, is the only Seattle-area wakeboard competition featuring professional athletes since 1996. With the world’s most extreme and legendary wakeboarders competing alongside the top talent from around the region, the Northwest Wakeboard Invitational showcases the best in the industry as they compete for thousands in cash prizes. Wakeboard fans and boating enthusiasts are expected to descend upon Renton’s Gene Coulon Park for this daylong double-up event. The Northwest Wakeboard Invitational is part of Boatstock, a two-day demo event providing free boat rides to the public.

Bonus Prize
The first competitor successfully completing a 1080-degree spin during the Northwest Wakeboard Invitational (NWI) will be awarded $1,080.
A 1080-degree spin includes three full rotations in the air.
This prize money is in addition to the $2,160 bounty ($1,080 each) currently being offered by Ten-80 Wakeboard Gear and WakeWorld.com to the first rider that successfully completes the spin and captures it on video. If a rider receives the double-bounty prize money prior to the Northwest Wakeboard Invitational, any rider completing the trick at this event will still be awarded the initial $1,080.
