Rock The Wake Site Chosen in Canada
 
ROCK THE WAKE, Canada’s Premier X-Treme Sports Festival has confirmed Head Lake Park, Haliburton to be the Official 2005 site. The site is home to 2000 feet of waterfront and 400,000 square feet of land.

Originally Rock the Wake was geared at the core wakeboarding market and was even name specific calling itself “Wakeboarders Welcome”. Over the past 5 years the event has grown to see thousands of spectators and hundreds of athletes drive, fly, or walk to the site. With intentions to provide the 10-55 X-treme sport enthusiast & cottage country goers more then just a wakeboarding weekend Rock the Wake team decided to deliver something for everyone.

$10,000.00 in hard CASH is up for grabs
$20,000.00 in product is also in the prize pools

SKATE
A series of mini-ramps and competitions for all skaters plus demonstrations by the GLOBE PRO TEAM.

FMX
Coors Light FMX TEAM
Riders will be soaring 40 feet in the air over 70 feet gaps throughout the weekend.

CONCERT SERIES
Death From Above 1979 & The Salads also performances by:
Acoustic Truth, Hero's Day Off, Band 88, Dodger, Angel and I, Out of Options, Hell or Highwater, Melvatoast, One second to Late, Mundane Redemption, Privacy Statement ,Inadequate Rumour, Tequila MockingBird, Thryun, Kindred, Starstruck Hero

VOLLEYBALL
This section of the event gives a chance for spectators to get involved as an athlete. The games will be split between competitive and non-competitive, round robin formats

MISS ROCK THE WAKE
$1500 in CASH
$3000 in product
20 contestants will compete to be crowned as MISS ROCK THE WAKE 2005 HONORS

MARKET PLACE
Industry companies from around North America will be on hand showcase and retail new products. The market place gives everyone a chance to get suited up for the 2005 summer season. The festival market place gives the audience a chance to purchase anything from: t-shirts, boards, boats, SUV’s, tents, docks, skates, shoes, glasses, sweaters, and even trips around the world..
