  • Description:
A line of boards that pushes a riders limits had a total overhaul for 2005. The changes made for this year cover the spectrum. More stable and aggressive at the same time.

The 2005 Parks board stands higher up the wake for a better boot and has a bigger sweet spot on landings because of a wider profile. Hyperlite put it in a deep full length step down rail so the board still sits plenty deep in the water for that hard bight out of a turn. A contoured center top deck was also added for a quicker and more stable heel/toe and a thinner tip/tail for jibbing.

    Features:

    • More pop off of the wake
    • Wider profile for softer landings
    • Full length step down rail
    • Contoured center top deck
    • Thiner tip and tail

    Pros: solid, fast, incredible pop
Cons: urges to be very aggresive

Demo this board but understand you gotta grab it by the horns. This board is definelty not for the laidback, weak-edging rider. Sticks on turns, grabs and bites on its edge and hauls you to the wake very quickly and solidly. At the wake, the pop is quite abrupt but not overly unpredictable. The more even weighted, proper cut you make, the more the fatty 3-stage aspect of this board will come into play. The landings are very soft as needed from a lot of height and the board attaches back onto its edge on landing and will typically not slide out on you. This is a fast board especially for the amount of 3 staged rocker it has. Board is not very squirely, however, I felt myself hesistating turning into my cut as is tends to rock onto a hard egde very much on its own. The best part of this board, I think, is that its always going to be able to keep up with how hard you push it, its whether or not you can keep up with IT that matters. Try this board out though definetely before you ever by it to be sure you can handle its aggressive style.
