Bought the binding becuase of design - I have very large feet and my HL HB were allowing heel lift and sliding upon landings in the flats. Binding is heaver that the HL HB, but heel lift and sliding are gone. The base is very rigid and had none of the flex of the claw mount. Highly recommeded design for agressive riding. Has a lot of ankle support, allowing riding from the knees and hips. Easier to control the board.
