MasterCraft Becomes The Official Boat of THQ AMA Supercross Series
Vonore, TN MasterCraft recently announced it has signed a three-year agreement with Clear Channel Entertainment Motor Sports Division, making MasterCraft the Official Boat of the THQ AMA Supercross Series.
The three-year deal grants MasterCraft category exclusivity to the 15-stop nationwide series, which will reach over 800,000 active outdoor enthusiasts this winter and spring. MasterCraft's rights include a 30 x 100 pit display for its Big Red Rigā and boat models at the THQ AMA Supercross Series races, allowing more than 15,000 fans per race premium insider access to get up close and personal with the pro motocross teams, riders and now the latest MasterCraft boats. Additional exposure is granted through on-track signage, JumboTron commercial time, on-track product placement, on-site MasterCraft personnel interviews in front of the crowd, live webcast interviews, VIP and hospitality access, and much more.
MasterCraft is extremely excited about its involvement in the THQ AMA Supercross Series said John Dorton, president and CEO of MasterCraft. The series is not only visually and emotionally-charged but we believe it is an ideal way to touch thousands of active outdoor enthusiasts who crossover to water sports in the summer.
Clear Channel Entertainment is also pumped about the addition of MasterCraft. We are thrilled to be working with MasterCraft on the THQ AMA Supercross Series, said Ryan McSpadden, senior director of sales, Clear
Channel Entertainment Motor Sports division. They are a world-class manufacturer of boats and a firs t class company that will bring a tremendous amount of cross-exposure to the sport of Supercross.
One of the keys to the agreement is MasterCraft's local dealer involvement, and the ability to get in front of a whole new realm of customers. Chuck Sacks of California Skier, a Southern California MasterCraft dealer who hosts three events in Anaheim, says the crossover market is awesome and will mean extremely positive results for MasterCraft and his dealership. It allows us to touch 44,000 people in one afternoon, many of whom are already water sports enthusiasts. Obviously, this is a great target-marketing opportunity.
