PRESS RELEASE:

MasterCraft Ups the Ante with the All-New X-30

Vonore, TN – What do you get when you cross years of superior design knowledge with the drive to provide the best performing watersports boats on the planet? Why, the all new X-30, of course. Inspired by the revolutionary designs of the X-Star and X-45 and buoyed by over two decades of innovation in VectorDrive propulsion, MasterCraft has engineered a winner. Featuring a vented-step hull for superior performance, a massive open bow for lounging in the sun, a 1000-pound liner ballast system for wake-making displacement, and a beefy-yet-classy upgraded ZeroFlex Flyer wakeboard tower, the X-30 rightfully fills the shoes of its predecessors – and then some. The X-30’s new, advanced hull design incorporates more deadrise at both the bow and stern, giving it more big-water capability at cruising speeds. And once its 98-inch hull nestles into the water at speeds below 24 mph, it taunts riders with wakes that are sturdy, peaked and narrow making lip slides, 180s and tantrums-to-blind within the realm of possibility.

“The all-new X-30 hits the target for active watersports families looking for equal parts cool and hot,” says Rob May, MasterCraft’s director of marketing. “There isn’t another boat that combines so many great features design, comfort, wake quality and smooth ride into a 23-foot package like this one.”

At a hair under 23 feet, the 4,100-pound X-30 utilizes every square inch of onboard space, featuring clean underseat and sundeck storage compartments that will hold anything you can carry on. Up front, MasterCraft’s X-Pod inspired modular dash display and billet cockpit appointments give wake captains a perfect vantage point for finding clean water and navigating double-ups. By adding aircraft-style toggle switches , quick-view ballast gauges, and an oversized urethane glove box, we’ve truly put the “command” in Driver’s Command Center. Add in the all-new Digital Throttle Control (DTC), and the driving may be more fun than the riding.

Up top, the X-30 sports the latest generation of ZeroFlex Flyer tower, giving a sturdy pull point for riders whether they’re working on surface turns or Orbitals. Underneath the aluminum sits optional JL Audio speaker cans and lights, guaranteed to liven up any session. Also incorporated are swiveling board racks, making it easy to load boards before, during or after a set.

In back, riders are welcomed by an oversized boarding platform, accentuated by the X-30s diamond shaped transom with scooped aluminum vent covers and walk-thru sunpad.

The X-30 comes complete on the inside, featuring a full wraparound seating compartment that envelopes, but doesn’t compromise. You can get the X-30 minus all the goodies, too – it is also offered as a MariStar 230 VRS.
