MarineMax, the host of Wet Thursdays, announces Dark Friday, an evening wakeboard competition, for amateurs and outlaws, being held at Bell Acqua, Friday October 1st.
What: Dark Friday is a wakeboard competition for competitors of all ages and all levels.
Wakeboard enthusiasts and competitors will enjoy an evening that includes an amateur wakeboard competition, an outlaw wakeboard competition, prizes, product giveaways, music and food.
It’s anyone’s game for the amateur competition with prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Then Dark Friday shifts gears as the sun goes down and some of the Northern California’s top wake boarders compete for cash prizes.

When: Friday October 1, 2004 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
3:30 pm = Gates open
4pm – 7pm (or until dark) = Amateur Riders (first-come-first-serve)
8pm – 10:30 pm = Outlaw Riders / Top 25 riders
11 pm = Awards
Where: Bell Acqua – private competition lake in Rio Linda

Motor sports, Domanate, Jetpilot, and Red Bull.
Cost: $25 per rider to compete / includes T-Shirt
Outlaw prize money $300 for 1st place; $200 for 2nd; $100 for 3rd

gift certificate for 2nd
