Spring is around the corner, and a new issue of
SBC Wakeboard is ready to hit newsstands.
After spending the winter compiling the coolest gear from the leading brands for our annual Buyers’ Guide, we are dedicating a big chunk of pages to all the new boards, bindings and boats, helping readers gain insight into the product before the purchasing.
With 116 pages, the Buyers’ Guide is our fattest issue ever. That means more sick photos, new departments and a few surprises. It’s also our first wakeskate cover [Quebec talent Philippe Joyal] setting the tone for the “Reservoir Dogs” feature, which profiles nine of today’s best wakeskaters. Our Wakestock story, in which the Pointless crew shares its event memories, is followed by a six-page interview with Summer ’03 cover boy Rusty Malinoski.
You’ll also meet tomorrow’s hottest crew in Family Matters, Gator talks business in D.I.Y., and young ripper Raphael Derome gets his first magazine appearance in Grom Assignment. If you are into jibbing, read “2 Out of Hand,” where Jimmy Brace and friends build the most insane rail/pool stunt for our new department, Guts for Glory.
Please note our special subscription offer: A free copy of V-Reel Productions’ Underestimated video will be included free with each two-year subscription. Take advantage online at www.sbcwakeboard.com.
