Professional Wakeboarder Nick Weinacker has joined Tigé’s world class team of pro riders and pro skiers by signing a long-term endorsement contract with Tigé Boats.
“Nick is a great asset to the team,” said TeamTigé Pro Team Manager Chris Bischoff. “He is probably one of the strongest riders I know on and off the water.”
Weinacker’s relationship with Tigé first began in 2000 when he became involved with the Pro Tour and Bischoff’s Fantastic Voyage Promotional Wakeboard Tour. It was not until the Spring of 2003 that Bischoff invited Weinacker to be a full time partner in the tour.
“I’m stoked about being a part of Tigé’s Pro Team,” said Weinacker. “Up to this point I have had a great working relationship with Tigé through Bisch and the Fantastic Voyage. Plus, Tigé has been one of the most innovative companies within the last 10 years. The new ‘04 boats have great concepts installed, and I love how TAPS² and the ConvexV hull modifies the wake quickly and easily. Tigé is a quality company and boat through and through.”
Weinacker first entered the wakeboard circuit in 1998 while running the Bonify Boarding House in Florida for four and a half years. In 2000, Weinacker placed second at the Brindle Invitational and became a founding member of Pointless Productions. Since then, Weinacker has toured throughout the United States and abroad providing wakeboarding exhibitions, demonstrations and clinics for watersport enthusiasts all over the world.
The TeamTigé Pro Team includes Team Manager Chris Bischoff, Pro Riders Keith Lyman, Wayne Mawer, Louise Moore, Erik Ruck, Tino Santori, Daniel Watkins, Nick Weinacker and Cathy Williams, Pro Slalom Skiers Jamie Beauchesne, Doug Ross and Chris Rossi, and Pro Hydrofoil Rider Brian Vesely.
