WHO:
Op Girls Learn To Ride (Op GLTR), the original series of girls-only action sports clinics, is designed to give females of all ages the basic skills and confidence necessary to participate in skateboarding, surfing, motocross, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. In this program, skilled professionals provide hands-on training with an emphasis on safety and skill development. Now in its fourth year, Op GLTR has taught thousands of girls and women a new action sport. The program will host 50 events throughout the United States and Canada in 2003.
WHAT:
The Op GLTR Wakeboarding Day is an opportunity for girls and women ages 9 and up to learn how to wakeboard or to improve upon existing skills. Taught by top pro wakeboarders Charley Patterson and Cathy Williams, the clinic is for beginner and intermediate riders and will teach participants the skills necessary to ride responsibly and enjoy the sport. Registration for the clinic includes a four-hour lesson, wakeboard rental, a grab bag containing CDs, stickers, magazines and other goodies, and a donation to the Boarding for Breast Cancer Foundation.

REGISTRATION:
The clinic costs $52.00. Participants are encouraged to register online at www.opgirlslearntoride.com. On the day of the event, please check-in at the Mission2Ride bus.
