Tigé Boats, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of three Regional Product Managers to its Sales and Marketing team.
Tony Fussell, Darren Landry and Charlie Kruenegel will work with existing Tigé dealers and develop new dealer relationships in markets where Tigé is not currently represented.
Tony Fussell, 34, will be in charge of the northeastern U.S. A longtime water sport enthusiast, Tony has worked as a sales professional in the oil industry in Midland, Texas. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing. Tony began water skiing at age 6 and has professionally skied in shows at Sea World of Texas. He and his wife, Kelli Rae, have three children.
“I could not be more excited about working for a company that is so totally committed to quality and performance,” Tony said. “I think this year will be one of the most dynamic in Tigé’s history and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
Darren Landry, 42, is a 25-year veteran of the inboard business and will now serve Tigé dealers in the Southeastern U.S. He is a senior-rated driver with U.S.A. Water-ski and is still involved in tournament skiing. Darren’s early years were spent at Tri-Lakes and Bennett Water Ski School, owned by his cousin in Louisiana, and has been involved in inboard retail sales since his early teens. A graduate in education from Nicholls State University, Darren and his wife, Pamela, have three children.
“I joined Tigé because of the quality of the product and the Tigé way of doing business,” Darren said. “My goal is to maintain and build on the integrity Tigé has established in our market and throughout the world.”
Representing Tigé on the West Coast will be Charlie Kruenegel, 39, who has been involved in the retail boat business for the past 10 years. Charlie began selling inboards with the first Tigé dealership, established in Northern California in 1992. Before that he show-skied professionally during summers and sold snow skis at Lake Tahoe during the winter. Most recently, Charlie managed a large Northern California boat dealership. He and his wife, Shirley, have two boys.
“Having worked for the competition for a few years I’m glad to be back on the A-team with Tigé,” Charlie said. “I’m looking forward to helping all of our dealers reach full potential in their respective markets.”

Tony, Charlie and Darren spend all of their down time with their families in a Tigé, living the family watersport lifestyle, which greatly assists our dealers in conveying that lifestyle to our customers. The addition of this team really bodes well to increase Tigé’s 33% growth in sales already for 2003,” commented Tigé’s Vice President, Brett Thurley.
