Centurion Boats Hires New South Central Sales Manager
Centurion Boats of California, North Carolina, and Australia would like to announce the hiring of Peter Chase as the new United States South Central Sales Manager. Chase (Austin, TX) has competed on the Professional Waterski Tour for the last eight years and will continue to do so. Peter has served as Centurion’s Professional Waterski Team Captain for six years as well as being involved with the Centurion design team. Now Peter brings his knowledge of Centurion Boats to the Centurion sales team covering the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.
Chase has finished in the top three on the professional waterski tour multiple times and in the last four years been ranked in the top 15 on the World Standings list. He is currently ranked 5th in the United States in the slalom event and holds the Open Men’s Slalom record for the South Central Region with 2 buoys at 41’ off.
"I am really proud to have been chosen as the new South Central Sales Manager for Centurion Boats,” comments Chase. “With the creation of the new factory in North Carolina in the year 2000, the huge sales growth Centurion has experienced over the last couple years (22% in 2002), and our great product Centurion is now poised for more growth East of the Rockies. I want to use all of the experiences that I have gained from my waterskiing career to help Centurion increase their exposure and market share not only in the South Central Region but for the whole United States and around the world.”
