DALLAS, TX - Lake Broken Bow, Oklahoma will be the location for a unique and exciting all-girl wakeboard event to be held June 15-17, 2001.
Broken Bow Girls Ride will feature a clinic on Friday and contests both Saturday and Sunday. Girls will be judged on effort and stoke, rather than technical skills. They will be judged by fellow competitors.
There is no fee for participation. Contestants will receive a free T-shirt. Prizes include a Core wakeboard, Nice bindings and Lokz binding bolts. While only girls may compete, guys are welcome as spectators and for freeriding before and after official events (competition/clinic).

Format:
Warm-up pass - no fall limit
Down and back competition pass - 2 fall limit
Double up at the end of second pass
Divisions:
Beginner (no consistent wake-to-wake jumps)
Novice (no consistent 360s or inverts)
Intermediate (1-2 consistent inverts or 360s)
Advanced/Outlaw (3 or more inverts or spins)
