New Braunfels, TX – If you missed out on this past September’s cable wakeboard tour stop at TSR, with wakeboarding, bands, bonfires, partying, and gorgeous girls. Don’t miss out on the TSR kickoff to Summer 2003. On may 17th & 18th TSR will host its first annual party, Cablestock.

No need to tow your boat thousands of miles, no gas money to donate, no dinged props, and most of all no hassles. Get a 3-Day unlimited ride pass for $34.00. This gives you access to the cablelake and skate park for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You are getting three days for the price of one! Just bring your board and USCG life vest and skate gear. If you are under 18 years of age and do not have a waiver on file at TSR please download one off our website and have it filled out properly when you arrive.

This weekend is the perfect opportunity for all of you boat riders that have procrastinated in trying the newest and exciting aspect of wakeboarding. Come ride and learn in a laid back atmosphere. While taking a break, skate in our 15,000 square foot skatepark, or walk over to our boat lake and participate in the demos and clinics hosted by many of our industries top pros brought in by the Board Shop, one of the top pro shops in the south central area.

You will also get to watch the top competitors in cable wakeboarding compete in a sickest trick competition. A similar competition held in September of last year saw incredible tricks attempted such as a triple s- bend, dbl half cab roll, s-bend 313 (s-mobe), and a temper tantrum. That competition was won by Rob Mapp for an incredibly huge handle pass KGB and local Chris Ramirez for a insane indy glide off the blue kicker. (Quicktime videos can be viewed at http://www.texasskiranch.com/general/photos.html) This type of tournament creates the best setting for riders to push the limits and land tricks that have never before been made. The competition will be held Saturday night. There will be a $25 entry fee for each rider. 100% of which will be added to the prize money collected from tournament sponsors. The MINIMUM first place prize money will be $1000. TSR will also pay the travel expenses for the champion to defend his title in 2004.

Other planned contests include wakeskate skeetball, in which competitors will launch themselves off a kicker and aim for rings in the water. Winners will receive product prizes donated by sponsors. Entry fee for the skeetball event will be $15 and go directly to the winner. Finally TSR will host it’s second bikini contest that will be every bit as exciting as the last.
