Dear Friends,
Its hard to believe its been over 3 years since we opened the Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC) with the firm commitment to offer our customers the finest cable and watersports facility in the world and to introduce as many people to the sport of waterskiing and wakeboarding as possible! Over this time, we have learned allot from our customers, things they like about our park, ways they feel we can improve the park and ideas on how we can better serve them and improve their time here. That said, we wanted to let you know about some changes that are happening at the park to address our customer's needs.
As of June 1st 2002 we have decided to take over the running of the ski / tournament lake and ski school operations. We have been very fortunate to have Mike Ferraro and Mike's Place 99 here on site, but feel that we can better service our customers if we schedule and maintain all aspects of the ski lake and its operations. We would like to thank Mike and all his staff for their work her at OWC and what they have brought to the park and wish him continued success working with the elite athletes of the sport and other business ventures.
We are excited to have the continued support of Correct Craft, HO Skis, Hyperlite Wakeboards and Performance Ski and Surf in our growth and development of the park.
The Air Control center is OWC's newly designed and improved Wakeboard and Waterski school operated by a young and dynamic team under the supervision of head coach, Glenn Fletcher. Our focus is on offering you the latest coaching techniques, quality water time and personalized attention all designed to help you reach your goals sooner, safer and with less effort. We are also are the only school which is able to allow you the ability to cross train between the boats and the cables. This allows you the ability to gain increased water time to perfect tricks and polish your skills.
Also, new to our school is our Guest Coach Package. From time to time we will invite top coaches, riders and skiers to conduct clinics at the park. This will provide you the unique opportunity to learn from the sports brightest and best coaching minds!
The Air Control Center is also a designated Factory Test and Demo Center for Hyperlite Wakeboards, HO Skis and Jobe Sports. So if your goal is to get the most out of your riding and "control the Air"....come ride at the Air Control Center.
