ABILENE, TX - Tige Boats, Inc. announced today the appointment of Kimberly Knight as Controller. Knight accepted the promotion after helping guide Tige's continued financial strength as assistant Controller since March 2007. As Controller, Knight will assume responsibility for all Tige's accounting and financial functions.
Knight has more than 20 years experience in accounting and business management. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Knight came to Abilene in 1990 after living in Japan and the Philippines. Prior to joining Tige she worked in accounting and business management for several companies in Ohio and Abilene, earning numerous achievement awards and professional certifications.
As Controller, Knight will provide fiscal leadership for Tige by continuing to exercise tight internal financial controls and implementing high efficiency standards. She will also play a key role in the company's budgeting and financial forecasting.

Because of its financial strength, low inventory and proactive approach to current market conditions, Pigeon said that Tige is well positioned for the future. In the coming weeks the company will roll out its 2010 model lineup that features several significant innovations including TigeTouch exclusive touch-screen technology.
