Wake Nation Cincinnati Grand Opening Celebration Scheduled For June 2

(Cincinnati, OH) - Ever seen a board slide? Backside spin? A bonk?
Well, now is your chance! When Wake Nation has its Grand Opening Celebration Tuesday, June 2, these athletic water maneuvers and many more will be on tap as seven of the world's top professional wakeboarders will "throw down" in a spectacular show that will entertain and amaze visitors.
Grand Opening is your chance to see the best of the best, meet the pros, get autographs and photos and watch as they do air and water maneuvers that seem to defy gravity. Grand Opening hours are 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 Grand Opening day at Wake Nation, or $7 if purchased at the park in advance.
The wakeboarding pros who will be hitting the water at Wake Nation's Grand Opening include the Team Liquid Force pros Melissa Marquardt, Aaron Reed, Kevin Hensaw and Tom Fooshee. Team Hyperlite includes Nick Davies, Jimmy LaRiche and Chad Buechler. Nick Davies is the reigning Cable Wake Park world champion and considered one of the finest wakeboarders on the planet.
Grand Opening visitors can also watch the premiere of Billabong's first-ever wake movie, "Out of the Pond."
The new Wake Nation watersports complex in Fairfield's Joyce Park opened May 3 for preview operations and has garnered nothing but rave reviews. Wake Nation is open daily all summer long through October. Hours are 10 a.m. to dark.
Wake Nation is the only wakeboarding cable park in the Midwest, the next closest one being more than 600 miles away, in Kansas City. There are only six other cable wake parks in the entire U.S., most of them in Florida and Texas.
