All the major wakeboard boat companies were at the show. Malibu, Axis, Tige, Supra/Moomba, Sanger, Correct Craft, Epic, Centurion and a long list of other brands made their 2009 appearance. We were on hand for the setup and tear down. For those of you that just visit the show you would be amazed at the amount of work involved in getting a show organized. I can see why some dealers plan for the show months in advance. My hat is off to all the dealers who work so hard to make these 3-4 day events possible.
I was pretty busy at the show. I picked up some autographed goodies for Wakeboarder.com members. Check out the messageboard if you want to try and win those items. Scott Byerly signed a few DVDs for us. Reed was also around and he signed a few posters. Gabe Lucas signed a DVD, shirt, and poster. While other dealers were trying to make money, I just looked for ways to make our loyal site visitors happy. Good luck on those items. Entering on the site is pretty easy....go check it out.
I really enjoy going to the Austin Boat Show every year. I like to see all the new boats, gear, and talk with others who are just as excited about watersports as we are at Wakeboarder.com. We put together a video of all the pics we snapped. Take a look.
