The Carnival Day Two Results Four Riders Remain In Wakeboarding's Most Prestigious Rail Contest
Orlando, Fla. 16 riders battled in the rail park at The Projects today outside of Orlando, Florida, in quest of the coveted Carnival Belt. After two rounds of competition, four riders remain, including Aaron Rathy, KeithLidberg, Shawn Watson and Kevin Henshaw.
Projects frontman and rail technician Pat Panakos was impressed at the improvement in today's riding. "The difference between today and yesterday was the riders' consistency on high-level hits." Panakos has also been towing returning champ Parks Bonifay in practice over the last few days. Bonifay will be challenging in the final head-to-head battle tomorrow. "Parks definitely has some hammers up his sleeve so tomorrow is going to be real fun to watch."
Saturday's final will be a head-to-head battle with Rathy vs. Lidberg and Watson vs. Henshaw. The top two riders will also battle, with the winner taking on Bonifay for the Carnival Belt.
The Carnival is made possible by the support of Fox Riders Co., RedBull, Sea-Doo, Hyperlite and Alliance Multimedia.
