Columbus, MS - Local wakeboarders Sam Marshall and Lannie Wallace responded quickly to assist a local charity that needed help. Sally Kate Family Services (a home for abused children) is located in West Point, MS that offers several services to neighboring counties that include shelter and counseling for children and their families. This organization is funded only by local charities and State of Mississippi funds and do not charge for their services. Sam and Lannie have teamed up with several local sponsors to have a wakeboarding event that all proceeds will benefit Sally Kate Family Services. Most of the volunteers for this tournament are wakeboarders that are traveling long distances to help, and this shows that wakeboarders have a positive attitude and will always be there to help someone in need.
