Moomba Customers Laud Product Reliability Through NMMA Survey Results

Every year, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) polls boat owners to get reaction on performance, reliability and luxury amenities. They call it the Customer Satisfaction Index. And this year, the CSI lauds Moomba, a popular brand of high-performance ski and wakeboard boats made by Skier's Choice in Knoxville, Ten.

"Customer Satisfaction is vital. People who don't own a Moomba may underestimate the quality and reliability of value-priced product lines like ours. The NMMA's survey confirms that we are meeting our customer's needs for reliability, durability, and performance." says Rick Tinker, president of Skier's Choice.

The CSI results were announced earlier this month recognizing a select few boat
manufacturers for outstanding customer service. To be recognized, a boat maker must achieve and maintain an independently measured standard of excellence of 90% or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by more than 50,000 consumers who purchased a new boat or engine between July 2006
and June 2007.

Thom Dammrich, president of the NMMA, says that the companies achieving the award "are leading the charge to make the best times in every boater's life every day they are on the water, and to make boating the number one choice in recreation."

Moomba brings reliable tournament-quality performance to a line of value-priced boats. Moomba is also the official towboat of some of the top wakeboard instructors in the country, such as Kyle Schmidt, Dave Briscoe and Russ Wilde, and is used to pull prestigious events like the Gravity Games H2O edition and this year will be the exclusive towboat at the WWA World Championship’s Double-Up event in Reno, NV.

With its plant and headquarters located in Maryville, Tenn., all Skier's Choice boats are made in America. The company is closely held. For more information, please visit
