The new coastal location will expand Reef's current work space by more than 15,000 square feet, and will provide the company room to grow by another 55 people over the next 5 years.
"This move is key to support Reef's existing growth along with our plans for the future to launch girls' apparel, swimwear, and girls' closed-toed shoes in Spring 2008. This strategic move is an integral step for Reef as a global apparel and footwear brand. With Reef's new headquarters centrally located between San Diego and Orange County, the company will be able to better service retailers with showrooms, easily allowing customers to book business each season from the office, while also giving team riders and media easier access to Reef.
The new building will encompass an overall natural aesthetic with inspirations of the Reef brand from athlete memorabilia, rooms dedicated to art and music, a gym, outdoor showers and surf racks, as well as a view of the ocean from the upper mezzanine.
