The newest addition to Team Ten-80 comes all the way from Phuket, Thailand. Bunyalo Jamuarang or better known as "LOTA", is the first international athlete to represent Team Ten-80 and wow did he represent this past weekend in Seoul, Korea.
The 26 year old LOTA took 3rd Place at the Asian X-Games. LOTA was riding with a heavily strapped shoulder from an injury he sustained while training a few weeks ago. LOTA's choice of music blasting from the speakers of the boat during his final run was Cypress Hill's "Insane in the Brain" which was an accurate description of his finals performance.
Seriously injured and making a podium finish behind a hot Dean Smith and an always consistent Josh Sanders makes you wonder where LOTA would have placed if he were 100%. Lota's stylish spins and clean riding makes him a perfect fit for Team Ten-80. His friends and riding partners refer to his riding style as the Asian Darin Shapiro. LOTA has a large fan base in South Korea and they were there to show their support. He currently spends 2 months out of the year in Korea riding and teaching the sport of wakeboarding. His favorite moves are crow mobes, s-bends, and sick, stylish spins. Go to www.ten-80.com for more pictures of LOTA in action at the Asian X-Games.
