I built and used this last year after seeing the price of the name brands....Same design, stronger, without the name.
I have a 6 and a7 foot Pole with wood base, 2000 lb rated eye bolts, 3000 lb rated ratchet strap to bow, and two smaller straps to stern cleats. Pole is 1 1/2" Galvanized sch40 pipe with 2" ball for tow point.
I will take pictures today for anyone interested.
I can make three full setups with the pipe I have and can get more if needed.
This is a great way to get your tow point up high for board or skiing, and good alternative to expensive towers.
Nothing to permanently mount to boat. Base sits on floor and secured with straps, Works Great!
I will even plan to take some pics in action next week, about time to hit the water guys!!!
I will consider trades for other Boat toys, wakeboard, big tubes, etc....
